She graduated in Art History and Theory from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2000 and has worked at the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute since 1998 (until 2010 – the Institute of Culture, Philosophy and Art), where she is a researcher at the Department of Art History and Visual Culture. She received her PhD in art history from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2005. In 2011–2012, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Vilnius University under the postdoctoral programme of the Research Council of Lithuania. She is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Art Historians.
Her research focuses on the art and architecture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the artists and craftsmen of eighteenth-century Vilnius, urban social networks, and artistic mobility.
