She received her PhD from the Institute of Culture and Art in Vilnius, with a dissertation entitled Patronage of Janusz Radziwiłł (1612–1655). She has lectured at the Vilnius Academy of Arts and Vytautas Magnus University and participated in research projects such as The Originality of the Culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, Research into the Sources of the History of Art, and A Guide to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (project leader, 2010–2012). From 2008 to 2017, she served on the editorial board of the book series Studies of Art History (Lithuanian Culture Research Institute). She is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Art Historians. Her research focuses on 17th- and 18th-century art of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, with particular interest in social art history, especially patronage and the social history of artists.
