Received her PhD at the Institute of Culture and Art in Vilnius, dissertation entitled Patronage of Janusz Radziwiłł (1612–1655). Lectured at Vilnius Academy of Arts and Vytautas Magnus University. Took part in research projects: "The Originality of the Culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania", "Research into the Sources of the History of Art", and "A Guide to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania" (project leader, 2010–2012). Since 2007, an expert on the database "Lituanistika". From 2008 to 2017, a member of the editorial board of the series of books "Studies of Art History" (Lithuanian Culture Research Institute). Since 2014, a reviewer of the academic journal "Biuletyn Historii Sztuki" (Institute of Art of the Polish Academy of Sciences). Member of the Lithuanian Society of Art Historians. Specializes in 17th and 18th-century art of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and focuses on topics of social art history, especially patronage and the social history of artists.
