The topic is a contemporary reflection of the heritage of one of the most interesting Lithuanian philosophers and creators, Vilius Storosta-Vydūnas. The content is the international scientific conference "See differently", dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Vilius Storosta-Vydūnas, which took place in 2018. on March 22 at the Museum of Applied Arts (Arsenalo St. 3A, Vilnius) and supported by the Commission for the Meaning of Lithuanian Traditions and Heritage, based on reports, a publication of prepared publications. The goals are to actualize the heritage of Vilius Storosta-Vydūnas, revealing the uniqueness of his ideas, mindset, contact with other philosophers, creators and promoters of that time and now.
The significance of the expected results is to present modern interpretations of the life and work of the most original Lithuanian thinker Vilius Storosta-Vydūnas, actualizing them in the context of culture, history and communication studies. We rightly consider Vydūnas to be one of the brightest personalities of modern Lithuanian history. Without his spiritual contribution, it would be difficult to imagine the path of revival and awareness not only of Little Lithuania, but also of Lithuania as a whole. In order to make the spiritual legacy of Vydūnas truly relevant to the thinking people of today, it is important and meaningful to communicate the meaning of Vydūnas' ideas and legacy.
