Polonica Philosophica Orientalia. Philosophy in the Commonwealth Republic of Poland and Lithuania in the 16th-18th centuries and the historiography of philosophy in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine

National Program for the Development of Humanities (Poland)

Polonica Philosophica Orientalia. Philosophy in the Commonwealth Republic of Poland and Lithuania in the 16th-18th centuries and the historiography of philosophy in Poland, Lithuania, Belarus and Ukraine

Coordinated at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, the project (http://philosophica.pl/) brings together scientists from scientific institutions of Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania. The project aims at finding new sources concerning intellectual geography and political theory, making the sources accessible, describing, transcribing, translating and commenting on them, looking for information on the lives and works of the philosophers, writing lexicon entries and preparing editions from manuscript sources, as well as commonly interpreting the history of philosophy in this part of Europe.

In 2021 the workshop of the project has been organized at Lithuanian Culture Research Institute https://www.lkti.lt/2021-m-lapkricio-men-26-27-d/
